ARTISANAL BEER MAKING

USING WILD, FORAGED PLANTS

Join us for this very popular and info-packed workshop where you will learn to make your own beer at home using local aromatic or medicinal plants.

1. Learn about Wild Aromatic and Edible Plants

First, we go on a foraging hike to identify and collect wild aromatic and edible plants. We'll also collect some of the plants we will be using to make the beer (and you can take some home for yourself so you can make your own beer later on).

2. Learn How to Make the Beer

After the foraging hike, we take you step-by-step through the process of making beer and we'll actually make some beer al fresco using the same plants we just foraged!

3. Beer and Food Sampling

Finally, we'll treat ourselves to a sampling of artisanal, hand crafted beers we've made to inspire the home brewer in you, as well as sample some treats made with our brews such as a rich, spicy-sweet, molasses and mugwort beer chili or a hearty sage beer stout soup and fragrant, fresh stinging nettle beer bread.
